About the Event
Salute the Troops Memorial Races
Join us for our 14th Annual Salute the Troops Memorial Races! The event features multiple races including a 10K run, 5K run/walk, and a kids ‘fun run’ for children 12 and under. Additionally, there are non-timed events such as a 10K Ruck March and a 5K Ruck March.
The course is wheelchair friendly and follows the prairie trail through and around Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac. This annual running event helps raise money for Salute the Troops of Wisconsin and NAMI, with all proceeds staying local to support Wisconsin Veterans and suicide prevention.
Event Schedule:
- 5:30 AM: Onsite registration opens
- 6:30 AM: Brandon Michael Memorial 10K Ruck March START
- 7:00 AM: 10K START
- 7:30 AM: 5K run & 5K Ruck March START
- 9:00 AM: KIDS RACE START
- 10:00 AM: 10K COURSE CUTOFF
- 12:00 PM: Course closes
- 9:30 AM: AWARDS
