Join us for the Sassafras 8 Mile, where you will take on the ultimate challenge at South Carolina’s highest peak. This exhilarating race takes place on Sassafras Mountain, offering an unparalleled running experience through some of the most scenic landscapes in the state.

- Where: Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center, 123 Hancock Rd, Sunset, SC 29685

- Packet Pickup: 1 Hour Prior to your race start time at the Rocky Bottom Retreat Center
Course Information
Prepare for a challenging 8-mile course that ascends to the summit of Sassafras Mountain. Runners will face a total elevation gain of 2,000 feet as they navigate a mix of road and trail sections. Shuttles will be available from the mountain top back down to the retreat center.
