Seven Sisters 25k

The Seven Sisters 25k is a challenging mountain run traversing the East and West ridges of the Montreat Wilderness. This route is a Western North Carolina classic, known for its beauty and difficulty, passing over multiple peaks and overlooks.

Prior Trail Running Experience Required to Participate!

The Numbers

• Distance: 25 Kilometers (~15 miles)
• Elevation Gain: ~4,000 ft
• Percentage Trail: ~95%
• Time Limit: 5 hours
• Aid Stations: Miles ~4 & ~8

Race Rules

• Stay on marked trails, DO NOT CUT SWITCHBACKS!
• Must carry required gear at all times (rain shell, water, whistle, cell phone, emergency blanket).
• Use proper trail etiquette.
• No littering.
• Obey race official's requests.
• This is a cupless race!

Packet Pickup

Pre-Packet pickup: Mountain Running Company, downtown Black Mountain, Friday 4pm-7pm.

Race day pickup: 7:30am-8:50am.

Lodging

Assembly Inn in Montreat is recommended, a short walk from the start.

Awards

Top 3 male/female receive awards. All finishers receive an award.

Refund Policy

Refunds granted minus $20 up to 60 days prior. No transfers/deferments.

COVID19 Note

If canceled, the race will be run virtually "Tanawha style". No refunds, transfers, or deferrals in case of virtual format.
