Shawangunk Ridge Trail Run

Welcome to the Shawangunk Ridge Trail Run! The Shawangunk Ridge Trail (SRT) is a 70-mile trail that traverses the entire length of the Shawangunk Mountains, offering stunning views and unique ecosystems. The event celebrates the preservation of the Shawangunk Mountains and encourages participants to experience the beauty of this ridgeline.

Event Details

The Shawangunk Ridge Trail Run includes three divisions: a 1/2 marathon, a 30-mile race, and a challenging 70-mile ultra trail run. The event features multiple checkpoints to ensure participant safety, but it is unsupported, so participants must bring their own food and water purification technology.

Swag

Participants will receive distinctive SRT tech t-shirts, unique finisher medals, and special awards for barefoot runners. Completion certificates and ceremonial tomahawks will be awarded to top finishers in each division.

Transportation

Event parking is available in Rosendale, and shuttle buses will transport participants to the start lines. It is important to follow the transportation guidelines to avoid parking violations.
