Shawangunk Runners Summer Solstice Run

The Summer Solstice Run is an amazing 8.6-mile run on the Minnewaska State Park Preserve's unpaved but well-groomed carriage paths. Run by pristine glacial lakes and summit the highest point on Shawangunk Ridge while enjoying spectacular cliffside views.

This race features chip timing, a commemorative gift for all finishers, and overall awards and awards for the top three in all standard 10-year age groups, handcrafted by Chris Regan. Plentiful refreshments for all. The park charges a $10 per-car, not per-person, parking fee. Please carpool to save money and parking spots.

• The race is limited to the first 250 entrants.
• Bib pickup begins at 5 pm.
• Race time 6:30 pm
• Start area: Cliffhouse Picnic area on the east side of the lake, less than 400m from the upper parking.
