Sheepwash Classic Fun Run

The Sheepwash Classic Fun Run is back!

A much loved Barwon Heads tradition is being revived and brought home to the community; bigger, brighter, and full of fun. Presented by Bellarine Property, The Sheepwash Classic isn’t about fast times or serious competition; it’s about connection, laughter, and getting the whole town moving together.

With a 1km Dash, 4km Run/Walk, and 8km Run/Walk, there’s something for everyone; kids, families, walkers, joggers, runners, and anyone who just wants to be part of a great local day out. Whether you’re pushing a pram, running with friends, or chasing a personal goal, you’ll fit right in.

This event proudly supports the local primary school, meaning every step you take helps give back to our kids and our community.

Please note: All events start on soft sand and have approximately 1.5km of running/walking on sand between the Barwon Heads Bridge and Ocean Grove.

START TIMES

• 1km Dash - 8:00 am
• 8km - 8:15 am
• 4km - 8:30 am

Course maps for the 1km, 4km and 8km events are now available. All participants will be able to collect their race bibs on the morning of the event at the official starting area (location to be advised).

There are medals for place getters in the 4km and 8km events, for both male and female categories, plus amazing prizes for top finishers; including cash prizes! All kids will receive a ribbon for participating, and there will also be special prizes for boys and girls.

Courses

• 8km Run/Walk: A longer distance for those looking for a challenge, with bragging rights for completion.
• 4km Run/Walk: A moderate distance, perfect for feeling accomplished and enjoying the fun at the finish line.
• 1km Dash: Ideal for young children, families, and anyone wanting a short, fun race experience.

Registration Fees

Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees.

• 8km Run / Walk: $45.00 (Children under 16 get $10 discount)
• 4km Run / Walk: $35.00 (Children under 16 get $10 discount)
• 1km Run / Walk: $15.00

Registration is open from December 1st to March 29th.
