Join us on the bike trails in Sherando Park for another extraordinary summer of trail racing. This year we will be offering a 5K, 10K and 50K. All three races will test your skill and ability but leave you wanting to do it again. This year each participant will receive a T-shirt for each race. Each year our races benefit local charities or groups. This year the 5K will be a benefit for the Sherando Girls Soccer team. The 10K and 50K will again benefit the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center.

Courses and Prices

• SPEAR Summer Package!!: Price: $165.00 - $180.00. Date Range: 07/25 - 09/19. Time: 8:00AM EDT - 3:00PM EDT. 50 spots left. Price increases after June 27, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT.
• SPEAR 5K Trail Race: Price: $40.00 - $45.00 - $50.00. Date Range: 07/25. Time: 8:00AM EDT - 11:00AM EDT. 200 spots left. Price increases after June 27, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT. The 5K will start from the concession stand on the softball side of the the park (North side of 277). On Google maps you can punch it in as 167 Line Drive, Stephens City VA 22655.
• SPEAR 10K Trail Race: Price: $50.00 - $55.00 - $60.00. Date Range: 08/08. Time: 8:00AM EDT - 1:00PM EDT. 75 spots left. Price increases after July 11, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT. The 10K and 50K race will start and end at the Sherando Park Bike Park / Outdoor Fitness Gym parking lot. On Google Maps you can punch it in as 525 Line Drive, Stephens City, VA, and it will get you there.
• SPEAR 50k Trail Race: Price: $90.00 - $95.00 - $100.00. Date Range: 09/19. Time: 8:00AM EDT - 5:00PM EDT. 50 spots left. Price increases after August 22, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT. The 10K and 50K race will start and end at the Sherando Park Bike Park / Outdoor Fitness Gym parking lot. On Google Maps you can punch it in as 525 Line Drive, Stephens City, VA, and it will get you there.

Check-in for the race will begin at 0700 and the race will start at 0800. There will be water and snacks at the finish and one water stop mid-way through the course.
