Location: Heckscher State Parkway, East Islip, NY

Distances: 50k, 25k

Description: A scenic point-to-point trail run taking you from the North shore of Long Island at Sunken Meadow, down through towns and trails, even under Sunrise Hwy, finally finishing at Heckscher State Park. Post-race food will be provided.

Trail Work Requirement: Each entrant is required to donate 2 hours of volunteer time before April 1st. Options include volunteering with the LI Greenbelt Association, volunteering at a local trail or race, or donating $20 to the Long Island Greenbelt Trail.

Course: 100% on the Suffolk County Long Island Greenbelt Trail. A full map will be downloadable soon. Course markings will be provided.

Aid Stations: Fully stocked aid stations with hydration, gels, sandwiches, snacks, sodas, candy, and fruit.

Logistics: Parking at the finish area (Heckscher Park). Bus tickets available for transportation to the start line.

Refunds: Typically no refunds, but a generous rollover/transfer policy to other events applies. No refunds or deferrals within 14 days of the event.
