Event Details

The 4th Annual Riggie Run, Walk & Riggiefest will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute campus. This event serves as the primary fundraiser for Sitrin’s Military Program, which provides comprehensive care to post-9/11 veterans and service members.

The event features:

  • 5K Run
  • 5K Riggie Challenge (includes consuming chicken riggies at the halfway point)
  • 5K Wheelchair Race
  • 5K Wheelchair Riggie Challenge
  • 2-Mile Walk
  • 1-Mile Kids Run

A Riggiefest will follow the races, featuring local restaurants showcasing their versions of chicken riggies. Paid participants can taste and vote for free; community members can attend for a fee.

Schedule

  • 8:30 AM: Registration/Continental Breakfast
  • 9:30 AM: Kids 1-Mile Run
  • 10:05 AM: 5K Wheelchair Race and Wheelchair Riggie Challenge
  • 10:10 AM: 5K Run and Riggie Challenge
  • 10:15 AM: 2-Mile Walk
  • 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Riggiefest
