Six Foot Track Marathon

The Six Foot Track is a 45km trail stretching across the Blue Mountains from the Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba, to the Jenolan Caves. The marathon started in 1984 and follows the length of the entire trail.

The race is a not for profit event and all profits are donated to the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service who provide volunteer firefighters at the aid stations on race day. Each year the event has over 1,100 entrants completing the course on race day.

The Six Foot Track Marathon does not operate a wait list and entries are not able to be sold or transferred as per race rules.

For entrants who have a deferred entry from the 2025 event. All entries using this option will be validated using entrant first name, last name and date of birth from the 2025 event entry. You then need to select your valid discount option which will again be validated usng the above details. $240.00
