Registration opens November 1, 2025, for the 2026 Snake River Canyon Half Marathon. This event is directed by the Palouse Road Runners and is the first major race of the season for the Quad Cities area. The course is a beautiful river canyon out-and-back on Wawawai River Road along the Snake River. It is flat, paved, and USATF-certified. The start and finish are at Wawawai Landing.

Course Information

Runners start at Wawawai Landing and follow Wawawai River Road on an out-and-back course, turning around near Water Canyon. Mile markers are present every mile, and water stations are available approximately every 2 miles, with toilets at each station. This is a USATF Certified Course.

Race Policy

• Bib swapping is not allowed for liability and safety reasons.
• No refunds or deferrals.
• In case of an in-person cancellation, a virtual race will be held.
• Running with pets, strollers, or biking along the course during the race is prohibited.
• Use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged.
