The St. Veronica 6k Run/Walk for Scholarships is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Olympia Fields, IL.

This event supports the St. Veronica Kwanzaa Ministry Scholarship program and is open to people of all ages, encouraging participation by running or walking.

End Time: 11:30 am CDT

Location: Vollmer Road Trails, 4200 Vollmer Road, Olympia Fields, IL 60461

Course Type: Paved Trail, Stroller friendly, Dogs allowed on a leash.

Registration Deadlines & Pricing:

• Early Bird Registration: $35 per participant (available until September 18, 2026, includes a race-day t-shirt)
• Race Day Registration: $40 per participant (t-shirt not guaranteed), available between 7:30 am and 8:30 am on race day.

Race Options:

• 6K Run: Timed event for competitive runners
• 2K Walk: Suitable for all ages and fitness levels

Packet Pickup: Race day at the start area, starting at 8:00 am.

Awards: Medals for top three overall finishers and top three in age groups (14 & Under to 70+). Awards ceremony around 10:15 am.

Course Time Limit: 90 minutes.

Transportation: Parking available at the start area and an overflow lot off Flossmoor Road. Olympia Fields Metra station is approximately 2 miles away.
