Steps for Summer Family 5K Walk/Run

Join us for the Inaugural Steps for Summer Family 5K Walk/Run, a fundraiser benefiting the Sixth Avenue Community Development Corporation's summer camp and out of school programs. Our mission is to ensure that children have access to high-quality programming regardless of their zip codes.

Summer is a time for making memories, trying new things, and having fun with friends. With your support, we can eliminate financial barriers to camp and provide children with wholesome meals, physical activity, friendships, and experiences that shape their interests in arts, sports, academics, and potential careers.

The event will take place at the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. Festivities will kick off with music and fun for everyone. Grab your friends or bring the whole family and let's get stepping to give the gift of summer camp!

Registration is $20 (plus a $2.20 credit card processing fee) and includes a short sleeve t-shirt and race bib. We offer shirt sizes ranging from YXS to YXL for youth and S to 3X for adults. Family/group registration is also available. Register by October 21st to guarantee your preferred shirt size.
