About the Event

Stone Everest ATL - May 16-17, 2026

Chase Everest on Stone Mountain where burning legs meet the beauty of sunrise and sunset. Every climb takes you higher, every view reminds you why you grind. You will have from 6am-Midnight May 16th to May 17th to complete the challenge. The mountain closes at midnight and we can resume 5am sharp the next day.

Course Terrain

The Stone Mountain Walk-Up Trail is a one-mile journey to the summit across Georgia’s famous granite dome. The path starts beneath the trees with a gentle incline before opening onto wide stretches of smooth rock that feel both unique and adventurous. As you climb, the trail offers a mix of steady slopes and short, steeper sections that keep things interesting without being overwhelming. Along the way, you’ll find natural rock formations, open skies, and plenty of spots to pause, catch your breath, and take in the views. Reaching the top brings a breathtaking 360-degree panorama, a rewarding reminder of the climb and the perfect place to celebrate your effort. You will be ascending and descending the trail an equivalent of 36 times up and 36 times down to reach the elevation of the tallest peak on earth, Mt. Everest.

Aid Station Support

There will be 1 main aid station support at the base of the mountain. At the summit there will be a volunteer at the top to mark your lap completion. There will be light snacks and minimal water the main aid station will be stocked with, electrolyte mixes, fruit, PB&Js, pickles & pickle juice, chips, gels, and energy gummies.
