STRC Trailfest at Sugar Hill

Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community at Sugar hill State Forest, hosted by the Southern Tier Running Club (STRC). This is a timed loop course trail challenge with 3 different durations: 3 hour, 6 hour, and 12 hour.

Start Time: 7:00 AM (all durations 3, 6, and 12 hour start at 7 am)

Location: Sugar Hill State Forest: Fire Tower Area, 3361 Tower Hill Rd, Watkins Glen, NY 14891

Course: 4 mile trail loop with ~500 feet of elevation gain per loop. Run as many loops as you can within your chosen time limit.

A fully stocked aid station will be available at the start/finish of the loop area.

Entry Fees:
- 3 hour event: $65.00
- 6 hour event: $85.00
- 12 hour event: $100.00
(STRC membership offers a discount.)

Your entry includes:
- Access to the aid station
- Post-run food
- Custom BOCO Gear hats for all participants.
- Finisher Medal
- Custom awards for Male and Female winners

Proceeds support the local trail running community.

Post-run social gathering: Grilling burgers and hot dogs, serving tasty sides, and offering vegetarian/vegan options. Family-friendly gathering with a covered pavilion and picnic tables.

Camping: Sugar Hill Recreation Area offers 26 designated campsites on a first-come, first-serve basis. Other primitive camping options are also available.

Participant Cap: 100 participants due to limited parking.
