Strides for Hope 5K

Strides for Hope 5K is a thrilling event that will take place on February 19, 2024, in Wellington's Village Park. This 5K run/walk is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and support a great cause. The event is open to all fitness levels, whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out.

Participants can choose between two courses: the 5K Run/Walk or the 5K Virtual Run/Walk. Both courses offer the same distance and have different pricing options ranging from $30.00 to $50.00. Additionally, there is a Kids Dash available for children, with a distance of 100 yards and a price of $15.00.

As a participant, you will receive a finisher medal and a race shirt to commemorate your achievement. There will also be 5-year age group awards to recognize outstanding performances. The event will be professionally timed using AccuChip timing technology, ensuring accurate results.

After the race, participants can enjoy a variety of food options and indulge in the Mimosa Bar. It's the perfect way to celebrate your accomplishment and relax with friends and family.

The Strides for Hope 5K is not only a fun and challenging event but also a way to give back. The event will be benefiting the Equestrian Aid Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to equestrians facing life-threatening illnesses or injuries.

All participants are required to pick up their race packets before the start of the race. Early packet pickup details will be announced soon. On race day, packet pickup will be available from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM at the race site.
