The South Suburban Christian Schools are hosting the third annual Strong Foundations 5K Run/Walk this spring. The goal of this community event is to raise funds for the five schools’ Foundations, which reduces the overall tuition costs for all students.

Again this year! The Strong Foundations Fun Run (1 mile run for all ages)

The South Suburban Christian Schools includes: Byron Center Christian, Dutton Christian, Legacy Christian, Moline Christian, South Christian.

• 9:00 AM Strong Foundation 5K
• 10:00 AM Fun Run (one mile; all ages)

REGISTRATION PRICING

• $20 - Strong Foundations 5K
• $10 - Fun Run

EARLY PACKET PICK-UP

Friday, May 1st, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM by the South Christian High School Gym. (The entrance by the anchor). If you cannot make it Friday night, you can pick up your event packet when check-in begins at 8:00 AM on Saturday by the soccer field.

SHIRTS

Event short sleeve t-shirts are included with the 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. EVENT SHIRT DEADLINE IS April 15. Register by April 15th to be guaranteed an event shirt.

REFRESHMENTS

We encourage everyone to cheer on the final finishers and enjoy post-event refreshments.

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top male and female in categories: - 10 and under - 11-14 - 15-19 - 20-29 - 30-39 - 40-49 - 50-59 - 60 and up. Award ceremony at 9:45 am.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

We are unable to issue refunds. The registration fees help cover the investments and purchases involved with this event. The event will still be held, rain or shine. However, in case of severe weather, please watch for an email or social media post regarding postponement or cancellation of event.
