Event details and schedule

PRE-EVENT REQUIREMENTS

• Pre-Event Check-in on April 11, 2026 from 2:00-6:00pm at the Miami Marine Stadium.
• Race Day Check-in will be available starting one and a half hours before your race.
• All participants must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to race start.
• Changes will be allowed for a $10 fee.

TIMELINE

• Saturday, April 11, 2026 2:00-6:00 PM - Pre-Event Check-in
• Sunday April 12, 2026 6:30 AM: Check-in begins
• RACE STARTING TIMES: 8:00 AM: 800-Meter Swim begins, 8:15 AM: 10K Swim begins, 9:45 AM: 5K Swim begins, 10:30 AM: Miami Mile Swim begins, 11:00 AM: K9-Krawl Championship begins, 12:45 PM: Course closes completely

Award Ceremony: We will award the first 3 male and female overall swimmers (not by age group) after each race. Every swimmer walks away with a limited edition finisher medal.

Time Limits: 10K: 4 hours, 5K: 3 hours

SWIM DETAILS

• Sanctioned By: World Open Water Swim Association – WOWSA
• Water Temperature: 81-82 degrees (F)
• Safety: Current World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) rules will govern this meet.
• Water Entry: This event will employ an in-water start and beach finish.
• Hydration Station: There will be a hydration station with water and electrolytes provided by the race crew.
