Tails & Trails is the Pennsylvania SPCA's annual on-site fundraising event at Main Line Animal Rescue, bringing together dogs and humans for a fun-filled morning supporting animal welfare. Participants can join a challenging 5K cross-country style run, a more relaxed 2K walk, or simply attend as a supporter to enjoy the on-site vendors, music, food, games, and more. No matter how you participate, your involvement directly benefits the life-saving mission of the Pennsylvania SPCA and Main Line Animal Rescue. All proceeds go toward helping abused and neglected animals in our area, ensuring they receive the care and love they deserve. Whether you're running, walking, or enjoying the festivities as a supporter, Tails & Trails is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of animals in need while having fun with friends, family, and furry companions.

• Dog-friendly course on rolling grassy trails, exclusive to this event—our trails aren't open to the public any other time of the year.

How to Participate:

• Register for the in-person or virtual event.
• Fundraise on your own or as a team for a chance to win exciting prizes.
• Purchase an encouragement sign to feature your pet and share your best words of encouragement.
• Sign up as a vendor to showcase your products or promote your business.
• Donate a raffle basket to help us achieve our fundraising goals.
• Sponsor the event and make a significant impact on our goal—multiple sponsor levels are available.

• 7:30 am Registration Opens
• 9:00 am Runners Begin
• 9:15 am Walkers Begin
• 10:15 am Beverage Garden/After-Party Opens
• 12:00 pm Event concludes

Register by selecting one of the options above (run or walk). Friends, family, kid-friendly dogs, and dog-friendly kids are welcome to register to attend. Please note: If you register later than Monday, April 21, we cannot guarantee the official 2026 Tails & Trails Race Shirt. We can potentially provide an alternative Tails & Trails race shirt.

Register by selecting the virtual option above. Complete your run/walk out on the road, on your favorite trails, or on your indoor treadmill on or around Saturday, May 9, 2025. Track your mileage through apps Strava, Runkeeper, Apple watch, Pacer, Run with Map My Run, or RunGo. Tag us on social media!
