About the Event
Race Info
The Albany IceBreaker Challenge 5K is a unique running/walking road race in Albany, NY, challenging participants against rowers from the Albany Rowing Center. Runners and walkers will use the Corning Preserve Bicycle Path while rowers race on the Hudson River. This event is also a fundraiser for the Albany Rowing Center.
Souvenir t-shirts will be provided to the first 250 registrants, and prizes will be awarded to race category winners.
Schedule:
Registration opens: 8:00 a.m.
Kids Run starts: 9:30 a.m.
5K starts: 10:00 a.m.
Packet Pick-up & Registration:
Friday, March 27: 4-7 p.m. (likely at Common Roots Albany Outpost)
Race Day: Starting at 8:00 a.m.
Location: 1 Colonie St, Corning Preserve Boat Launch, Albany, NY 12201
