Race for Our Future Earth Day 5K

Climate change threatens everything on our planet. CLEO is fighting to protect the people and places we love… but we can’t do it without you. This Earth Day 5K supports fearless education, fearless advocacy, fearless empowerment, and fearless protection for the planet we share.

Every registration will:

• Empower Resilient Women by training women in marginalized communities to prepare for and recover from extreme weather, with tools for food security and home resilience.
• Expand genCLEO’s Youth Network by mobilizing the next generation of climate leaders who are already shaping policy and community change across Florida... and soon, across the nation.
• Advance Climate Advocacy & Campaigns by turning apathy into action and awareness into policy wins, from extreme heat protection to energy justice.
• Build Climate-Resilient Schools by engaging students and teachers through hands-on climate education and civic action.

That’s why we’re fearlessly moving forward - running, walking, or even skipping to the finish line and beyond. Join us!

Getting There

The event will be conveniently located at The Underline, situated at the intersection of Tamiami Trail and SW 1st CT. When you arrive, please walk North from the Brickell Metrorail Station. Take the Metrorail to Brickell Metrorail Station, exit north, and walk to the 800 block of The Underline, just north of Publix.

• Walk or bike (park your bike at one of the many bike racks available on The Underline.)
• If you drive, you may be able to find nearby street parking. Public garage parking is available at Brickell City Centre and Mary Brickell Village.

Accessibility: The Underline is entirely wheelchair accessible. Please consider carpooling, using public transportation, or skipping the car entirely for the sake of the environment.
