The Great Train Race

The Great Train Race is a running event for runners under 18 years old and consists of three races: The 1 mile Express, the 1/2 mile George Dashington, and the 1/4 mile Caboose run. The first event will start at 7:30am. Additional race information can be found on the race website: gtr.runfarc.com

Events

• Express 1 Mile - (6 to 17): $20 Registration Opens September 28, 2025 at 12:00am EDT. Open to ages 6-17.
• George Dashington 1/2 Mile - (10 & under): $18 Registration Opens September 28, 2025 at 12:00am EDT. Open to ages 10 and under.
• Caboose Run 1/4 Mile - (5 & under): $15 Registration Opens September 28, 2025 at 12:00am EDT. Open to ages 5 and under.

*Fun Heats are intended for runners who may need a bit more time or have special needs. Contact us for more information at [email protected] if your child would like to be included in a Fun Heat. Participants in the Fun Heats are not eligible for awards.

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will be held at Dick's Sporting Goods in Spotsy Towne Centre Friday May 2nd from 5 to 9pm & Saturday May 3th from 10am to 4pm. There is no race day packet pickup!
