ICE Breaker Triathlon

The ICE Breaker Triathlon was first held in 2000 as part of the TBF Training Triathlon Class. In 2002 the event was opened to the public and is now in its 24th year and is known as the best way to start your Triathlon racing season! Event details and scheduleICE Breaker Triathlon Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA The Swim for the ICE Breaker Triathlon and ICE Breaker Dash Triathlon will both take place at Folsom Lake. The run courses for the ICE Breaker Triathlons will be a scenic and enjoyable along the beautiful shoreline of Folsom Lake. The Ice Breaker Dash is a super sprint course perfect for first-timers. Included for each athlete is a swim cap, hot post race meal, a pair of ICE Breaker Triathlon socks, and an ICE Breaker Triathlon Finisher Hat.

• ICE Breaker Triathlon - .5 mile swim-10 mile bike-4 mile run
• ICE Breaker Aquabike - .5 mile swim-10 mile bike
• ICE Breaker Dash Triathlon - 400 yards swim-5 mile bike-2 mile run
• ICE Breaker Swim - .5 mile

Relay Teams Relay Teams consist of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner. Entry fee includes three goody bags and post race meals. Awards will be first overall in Male, Female and Coed divisions for ICE Breaker Triathlon only.

Packet Pick Up Information

Race packets will be available race morning from 6:30 am to 9 am at the race site.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:00 Registration/Packet Pick up opens
• 6:30 Race announcements begin
• 8:00 a.m. Start of ICE Breaker Dash Triathlon
• 9:00 a.m. Start of ICE Breaker Triathlon & Aquabike Waves to be announced.

Refund and Transfer Information TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.

Race for FREE Information

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing: [email protected] as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.
