The Macklind Mile powered by Altra

The Macklind Mile is more than just getting outside…you can run fast or stroll slow…you can race to compete or move to complete. There will be music, food and activities following the short one mile course which makes it perfect for hanging out in the streets of South City St Louis with other kids and kids-at-heart. It’s a one mile distance that everyone can do regardless of running or walking, and the post-race party is just as important as the distance covered! You can come to run the downhill, one mile course to try and set a personal record, or you can walk it with your family pet – but either way you’re partying at the finish line!

In 2025, the Macklind Mile will play host to the RRCA Central Region Championships!

• Schicker Ford Women's Competitive Mile: $30, 7:45AM CDT
• The Smoothie King Recreational Mile: $30, 8:15AM CDT
• The Watering Bowl Dog Mile: $33, 8:45AM CDT
• Kid's Quarter Mile Dash (Untimed): $15, 9:30AM CDT
• Virtual Macklind Mile: $30

• Thursday, June 26: Big River West County – Noon – 6 pm, Big River South City – Noon – 6 pm
• Friday, June 27: Big River South City – 10 am – 6 pm
• Race morning: Start Line, 6:30 am
