Welcome to Memorial Day Weekend in Burlington!
The M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay, Relays Presented by Darn Tough Vermont, is being held on Sunday, May 24, 2026. The M&T Bank Vermont City Two Mile and M&T Bank Mini Marathon are being held on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
A flat, fast course that winds through Burlington and along Lake Champlain, the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success since 1989. The race hits the best of Burlington including the Church Street Marketplace and Burlington Bike Path. The course is a double loop that starts and finishes in Waterfront Park.

Two Mile: May 23, 2026 at 8:30am EDT. Price: $30.00. Open to ages 9 - 14.
Mini Marathon (one mile fun run): May 23, 2026 at 9:20am EDT. Price: $30.00. Open to ages 4 - 14.
Mini Marathon (half mile fun run): May 23, 2026 at 9:50am EDT. Price: $30.00. Open to ages 4 - 14.
