The Muddy Paw Canicross Race
Canadian Canicross Sports presents the Muddy Paw Canicross Race, in partnership with the Orangeville SPCA. This event aims to raise funds for animal rescue and rehabilitation. Participants can choose from a 10k or 5k course, or a 3k Fun Run/Walk. The event features trail running and Canicross elements through Monora Park.
Courses:
- 10k Canicross Race: A challenging 10k race with rolling hills, two loops, and an aid station. Awards for top 3 finishers.
- 5k Canicross Race: A 5k race suitable for participants and their dogs, featuring rolling hills. Awards for top 3 finishers.
- 3k Fun Run/Walk: A more relaxed option for participants and their dogs, requiring only a leash and collar.
- Two Dog 10k Canicross Race: A 10k race for participants with two dogs.
- Two Dog 5k Canicross Race: A 5k race for participants with two dogs.
- Virtual 5k: Participate remotely and receive a finisher medal.
- Virtual 10k: Participate remotely and receive a finisher medal.

Important Information:
- Race kit pick up: 9am-10am on race day.
- Equipment check required for Canicross Racers.
- Safety guidelines for reactive dogs and passing are in effect.
- 'No greet' policy is enforced to reduce dog stress.
- Race waves start at 10:15 AM.
- Parking is free.
- Manual timing requires bib to be visible on the chest.
- No refunds; switching to virtual event possible upon request.
- No headphones allowed.
- Clean up after your dog; dogs must be under control and leashed/connected.
