The Ryan Shaw Memorial 5k is an annual run/walk event hosted by the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity’s Boston Chapter. It is held in remembrance of Ryan Scott Shaw, who passed away at the age of 18. The event aims to preserve Ryan's legacy.

Registration & Pricing

• Online Registration: $30 per person. Closes Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 at 11:59 PM. Participants registering by October 17, 2024 receive a complimentary t-shirt.
• Day-of Registration: Available onsite starting at 10:15 AM. Cost is $40 per person.

Race Schedule

• Sign-in & Registration: 10:15 AM - 11:45 AM
• Opening Ceremony & Warm Up: 11:45 AM - 12:00 PM
• Race Start (first wave): 12:00 PM
• Awards Ceremony & Raffle Winner: 1:00 PM (tentative)

The Course

The course is a 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) loop route along the Charles River, starting at DCR Artesani Park. It is a flat, paved, and scenic route with no street crossings. Runners and walkers will be divided into waves for safety and capacity.
