The Springbank Sprint

The Springbank Sprint 5th Annual!

Welcome to the fifth anniversary edition of the Springbank Sprint! Join us in Springbank Park for a 5 km (New Era Grafix 5k) or 10 km (BackRoads Brews + Shoes 10k) race. We also host shorter runs for kids (Little Vikings Sports Camp Kids' Runs) and walking-only events (5k and 10k).

A portion of each 5k and 10k registration will be donated to the Children's Health Foundation.

The Venue

Springbank Park offers fast, multi-use paved pathways alongside the Thames River. The route is closed to vehicular traffic. The 5km, 10 km, and 1 km kids' run are out-and-back routes. The 50m and 100m kids' runs are short point-to-point runs. Races begin and end near 1205 Commissioners Road West, London, Ontario.

Race Schedule

Packet Pickup:

• BackRoads Brews + Shoes, 1295 Riverbend Road, London, ON: Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 (5:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.) & Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 (10 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
• Race Morning (Start/Finish Area): Beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Race Day! April 4th, 2026:

• 9:30 AM: 5 km start
• 9:35 AM: 10 km start
• 11:00 AM: Kids' runs (50 metre, 100 metre, 1 km)

Timing

The 5km and 10 km events will be chip-timed. Kids' events are fun runs and not chip-timed.

Aid Stations and Washrooms

Aid stations will be located at approximately the 2.5 km, 5 km, and 7.5 km marks for 10 km runners. Portable toilets and public washrooms are available at the start/finish area. A public washroom is also on the 10k course.

Shirts, Medals, Prizes, and More!

Adult participants receive an event shirt and a 5th Anniversary custom race medal. Kids receive a finisher's medal and race bib. Post-race snacks will be available. Photos are free to download. Prizes for top three finishers (female, male, non-binary) in 5k and 10k runs. Prizes for top overall finishers in walking events.

Refund Policy

No refunds. Race credit available for withdrawals by March 4th (100%) or after March 4th (50%). No bib transfers.
