The Ultra Bird 12hr and 6hr Trail Races

The Ultra Bird 12hr and 6hr Trail Races take place at Pigeon Creek Park in West Olive, MI. The event offers a challenging trail running experience on the Pigeon Creek Trail, featuring a 5k loop with around 165 ft elevation gain per loop. Runners will start and finish at the Pigeon Creek Ski Lodge, with one 'bigger' steady climb and a big downhill per loop.

Participants can expect a well-marked course and signage to guide them through the event. The park will remain open to the public during the race, so runners are encouraged to show respect and professionalism to all park visitors.

The event includes 12hr, 6hr, 10K, and 5K races, with start times varying for each distance. Pacers are allowed for the 12 and 6-hour events, and race accommodations such as aid stations, hydration, and trail snacks will be provided.

Packet pick-up will be available at the Pigeon Creek Park Lodge, and 10% of event profits will go towards supporting Gateway Mission, a charity partner. The event will be held rain or shine, with no refunds available but bib transfers allowed.
