Kids Mile

Price: $20

Time: 6:00 PM EDT - 6:25 PM EDT

Registration closes on July 27, 2026 at 8:00 PM EDT and re-opens on July 28, 2026 at 5:01 PM EDT. Open to ages 1 - 22.

Race Details

The race is on the last Tuesday evening in July, July 28th. The 1 Mile goes off at 6:00 PM and the 5K starts at 6:30 PM.

Shirt Option: Sign up by July 7th to guarantee a shirt. After that, only the non-shirt option will be available.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up

Running Etc. in Virginia Beach — Monday, July 27th, 3:00–5:00 PM. 1940 Laskin Rd UNIT 302, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.

Course Information

• 5K Course: Starts in front of the Sportsplex, loops around the parking lot, follows the trail behind the Sportsplex, and finishes inside the Sportsplex.
• 1 Mile Course: Loops around the parking lot and finishes inside the stadium.

After Party

Inside the Sportsplex with beer and pizza (non-alcoholic options available).

Raffle

A large raffle with over $10,000 in prizes. Race entry with shirt option includes 6 raffle tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased.

Tidewater Strider Member Information

Strider Plus participants should use the NO SHIRT sign-up option for a discount. Strider Scholarship 5K Shirts are available as an additional purchase option.

Grand Prix Information

This is a Strider Grand Prix Event and a Hampton Roads Super Grand Prix Event.

Important Notes

• Competitive Walking Division: Must walk the entire race.
• Run/Walk Division: Register for the 5K Run/Walk Division.
