Tom LaMonica Memorial 5K Trail Run

Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center is a nonprofit organization co-founded by Tom LaMonica in 1981. Tom was a teacher and coach at Friends School of Baltimore and passionately served as our leader until his passing in September 2010. This 5K trail run is a memorial to one of our founders and we are also celebrating our 43rd year! Proceeds from this event support our scholarship fund for students and campers who could not otherwise afford to attend Genesee Valley.

POST RACE FESTIVAL: Stick around after the race and enjoy some food, music and beverages. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair so you can sit back and relax post race. Food will be available for purchase on site.

Time: Race day registration and Packet Pick Up: 3:30 p.m. | Race begins: 5:30 p.m.

Registration Details

Early Bird Registration (Individual): $35 until August 1, 2026

Individual Registration: $40 starting August 2, 2026

Race Day Registration (Individual): $50

Team Registration (per runner): $30 (teams must have at least 5 members)

In Spirit: $35 (You're crazy if you think I'm running; but I will donate.)

All registrations include a t-shirt. There are no refunds or transfers permitted for this event.
