Start Times: 10AM - 5K & 10K and 9:30AM - COLOR RUN

Join us in celebrating Easter Weekend at the Tortoise and the Hare 5K & 10K and Color Run!! The event continues to fundraise for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation.

Packet Pickup/Race Day Reg: Early Packet Pickup on Friday at Salisbury Senior Center (43 Lafayette Rd) from 11-2PM. Race Day opens at 8:45AM at Lions Park under the pavilion!

5K/10K Fees: $25 through 12/31, $30 through 3/31, $35 through 4/3 through 8PM, $45 on Race Day. Youth 15 & Under – $20, $25 on race day

1 MILE COLOR RUN (NOT TIMED): $25, $30 on race day (includes a t-shirt). START TIME IS 9:30AM!

At each 1/4 mile mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Some color runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. Our color throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by. The color mostly washes out of your clothes after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It’s best to wear items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful.

Courses: All courses will take place within the Salisbury Trail System

Swag: Dry fit, super soft custom t-shirt, guaranteed to all participants before April 1st!

Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female Hare in the 5K and 10K. Top 3 Male and Female in the 5K/10K in each AG: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60-75, 76+. Top 3 Non-Binary *NO Double Dipping

Parking: DPW and Senior Center, 39/43 Lafayette Rd-Salisbury, MA. Overflow parking at the Boys and Girls Club and the Salisbury Elementary School.

Post Race: A variety of packaged snacks and fruit will be available. Music & entertainment provided by Evolvement Radio!! Those 21+ can grab 1 FREE beer on site using their ticket on their race bib!

Beneficiary: 100% of the net proceeds will be allocated to the Salisbury Parks and Recreation.

Weather: Races are rain, snow or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend. If the race needs to be cancelled there will be no refunds but we will work to establish a postponement date.
