About the Event

Tri-Cities Marathon

The 42nd edition of the Tri-Cities Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 26th. This event offers a Marathon, Marathon Relay (up to four runners), and a Half Marathon. The course stays open until 2:00 PM, providing up to 7 hours to complete the race.

Registration Tiers:

  • Super Early Bird (Nov 1 - Dec 31): $70 Marathon / $55 Half Marathon / $140 Relay Team
  • Early Bird (Jan 1 - Apr 30): $80 Marathon / $65 Half Marathon / $160 Relay Team
  • Standard (May 1 - Oct 9): $90 Marathon / $75 Half Marathon / $180 Relay Team
  • Late (Oct 10 and after): $100 Marathon / $85 Half Marathon / $200 Relay Team

Each entry includes full course support, aid stations every 2 miles, a free event t-shirt, finisher's medal, and chip timing.

Schedule:

  • Packet Pickup & Late Registration: Friday & Saturday 4-6 PM at Fleet Feet Tri-Cities. Sunday starting at 6 AM (ends 30 mins before race start).
  • Race Day: Marathon & Marathon Relay Start: 8:00 AM. Half Marathon Start: 9:00 AM. Course Closes: 2:00 PM.

Course Information:

  • Half Marathon: 13.1 miles out-and-back into Pasco. USATF certified through 2027.
  • Marathon: 26.2 miles, following Pasco river trail, crossing the Cable Bridge, mixing trail and bike lane, and returning to Richland. USATF Certification in progress.
  • Relay Exchanges: Located at Road 54 parking (Pasco), Columbia Park entrance (Kennewick), and Carrier Road (Richland).

Aid stations are located approximately every 2 miles. Restrooms are available at various points along the course.

Awards: Finisher's medals for all, special medals for top 3 male/female in full/half distances, pint glasses for age group winners, and a custom plaque board for the 1st place relay team. The Director's Award recognizes outstanding spirit and sportsmanship.

Future Editions: The event is typically held on the last Sunday of October. Expected dates include October 25, 2026; October 31, 2027; October 29, 2028; October 28, 2029; October 27, 2030.
