EVENT TIMELINE

• 6:00 a.m. Park opens
• 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. Check-in
• 7:30 a.m. Report to the beach for the swim seed positioning and duathlon course start
• 7:45 a.m. Start sequence information and last minute course updates
• 8:00 a.m. Race starts
• 11:00 a.m. Awards ceremony begins

TRIATHLON COURSE

Swim Course: 600 m (approx. 0.37 miles). Starts near the rowing tower, finishes at the boat ramp. Marked by large START and FINISH signs. Swimmers will swim 100 m out, turn right, swim parallel to shore for 400 m, turn right for final 100 m. Wetsuits are legal if water temperature is below 78 degrees. Time trial start with athletes starting every 5 seconds.

Bike Course: 14.7 miles (approx. 23.7 km). Follows roads of northern Hall County. Turns right out of the park, follows Clarks Bridge Road north for over 6 miles. Left on Bogus Road for a 4-mile loop with rolling hills. Left at Napone Rd. back to Clarks Bridge Rd., then right back to the park. Course is open to traffic.

Run Course: 5k (approx. 3.1 miles). Exits transition near the boat ramp, wraps around parking lot, turns left on Clarks Bridge Rd. Runners return along the same route. Returns to park, wraps around transition to the finish line above rowing grandstands.

DUATHLON COURSE

First run leg starts near transition swim entrance. Circles transition parking lot, follows the run route. Bike leg and second run leg are the same as the triathlon course.

AQUABIKE COURSE

Complete the same swim and bike course as triathletes. After the bike course, rack bike and exit transition with runners to the finish line.
