True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike 13.1 Half Marathon

Race Information

Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for the True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike Half Marathon! Embrace the challenge of 13.1 miles on the Croft Passage of the beautiful Palmetto Trail. The race is capped at 250 runners and is expected to sell out.

Finishers will receive a custom bottle opener medal and a fresh cooked breakfast. Packet pick-up is on Friday, Oct. 2nd, at RJ ROCKERS BREWERY, where you can enjoy a free beer and concert.

SHIRT GUARANTEE DEADLINE: 9/1/2026. No refunds or deferrals. Race is rain or shine. No bib exchanges after 9/25/25. No strollers or dogs allowed. Participants must be over 14 years old. The course is moderate with some hills and has a 4-hour cut-off time. This is a technical course recommended for experienced runners.

Race Day Packet Pick Up: Saturday, Oct 3, 2026, 6am - 7:15am at 140 Cedar Springs Place, Spartanburg, SC 29302.

Course Map

The course is on the Palmetto Trail Passage of historic Croft State Park. Directional arrows and mile markers will be present, along with water stops, aid stations, and volunteers. All participants must complete the race within four hours.

Parking, Shuttles & Race Day Information

Parking: Available at Cedar Springs Baptist Church and SC School for the Deaf and Blind (355 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302). Shuttles will run from the finish line at Croft State Park back to the parking areas.

Race Start: 7:30 am on Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC. The race ends at Croft State Park.

Croft State Park opens at 8 am for spectators.

Aid Stations & Amenities

Aid stations will be every 3-4 miles and at the finish line, offering water, gatorade, and nutrition bars. Restrooms will be at the start and finish lines.

Race Swag & Awards

All finishers receive a custom bottle opener medal. Awards ceremony near the finish line includes breakfast. Categories include Overall Top Three Male/Female, Masters Top Three Male/Female, and Age Group awards.
