Two Days of Thanksgiving Trail Racing!

Run, walk, or hike through the woods at Shelby Twp's beautiful Stony Creek Metro Park on Thanksgiving and on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving! This two-day trail racing event has a distance for every member of the family and is beginner-friendly, a great option for experienced trail runners/hikers, and perfect for everyone in between.

You have the option for an extra challenge by selecting the "2 Day Bundle" and choosing a distance (2 Mile, 4 Mile, 6 Mile, or Half Marathon) for Thursday & Friday. We'll have food/drinks with fire pits to keep you warm at the finish! For those that cross Thursday's Turkey Trail Trot finish line and Friday's The Leftovers Race finish line, your two medals will connect!

About the Course: Celebrate Thanksgiving on the trails! Whether you’re a first-time hiker or an experienced trail runner, everyone is welcome. All courses are on 100% dirt trails: from wide paths to winding single track. This is not a road race. You’ll cross leaves, rocks, and roots, and take on twists, turns, and hills that range from rolling to steep—plenty of adventure before the big meal.

Park Pass: Stony Creek Metropark requires vehicles to have a metropark pass. Daily park passes are $10. No fee will be charged on Thanksgiving day.
