Ultra Ultras Turkey Trot 5k

This is an easy 5k on a paved path with a small section of grass. It is not a trail race.

Ultra Ultras is excited to bring you the 4th Annual Turkey Trot 5k and kids fun run in Lake Wales on November 26th, 2026, starting at 8 am at Lake Wailes park. After the run, enjoy pumpkin pancakes.

This is a Fun-Run, so come in your fastest running outfit or in full Turkey Costume!

Shirt sizes are limited if registered after November 6th. Race Shirts & Medals are guaranteed to the first 400 registered.

DONATIONS: A portion of each race fee will be donated to a local organization.

FOOD: Hot grilled PUMPKIN PANCAKES for all participants after the race, starting around 8:30 am. Bananas and other snacks will also be available.

RACE ENTRY FEES

• $35 until May 31st, 2026 (a portion donated to Lake Wales Rec Center)
• $40 until Race Day, November 26th, 2026 (a portion donated to a local organization)
• Students 18 & Under: $25.00

PACKET PICKUP

• Wednesday, November 25th, 4-7 pm @ Lake Wailes Park, 198 N Lakeshore Blvd, Lake Wales
• Thursday, November 26th, 6:30-7:45 am @ race start area

• Top Overall Male & Female Masters (over 40+ years of age)
• Top Overall Male & Female Grand Master (over 50+ years of age)
• Top 3 in Age Groups: 9 & under; 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

You cannot win Overall and Age Group!

FREE KID’S RUN

9:15 a.m. (time is approximate) - For kids 9 & under. Kids will be divided into 2 to 3 year age groups. Race distance will be between 20 yards & 400 yards depending on age. NO SHIRTS GIVEN FOR THIS EVENT. All kids receive a Winning Ribbon!

T-SHIRTS/ Finisher Medals

Shirt sizes guaranteed if registered by November 6th!

TIMING & SCORING

Race will be timed and scored by FITNICHE timing with a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib.
