The Frontrunners Vancouver Island Trail Running Series is Vancouver Island's premiere trail running series that takes runners off the roads and on to some of the most amazing trail networks in Western Canada. The Port Alberni Vancouver Island Trail Running Series event is sure to impress as the trails here have it all. They are technical, fast, flowy, beautiful, fun, you name it, Port Alberni's got it. Start and finish at EJ Dunn Elementary School with a wicked post race BBQ!

Course Distances

• Long Course - ~22k - 530m Vertical Gain
• Short Course - ~10k - 250m Vertical Gain

Start Times

• 10:15 AM - Kids Run
• 10:30 AM - 22km Long Course
• 11:00 AM - 10km Short Course

Fee Notes

1. Online registration will close at 11:59pm on Thursday, June 4th, 2026.
2. 5% GST will be applied at checkout.
3. An online processing fee will be applied to all online registrations into this event.
