Vermejo Charcoal Burner
The Vermejo Charcoal Burner is a gravel ride and run event set for May 16th, 2026, at Vermejo Park Ranch. This event offers multiple gravel ride distances and a half marathon run through scenic landscapes.

- Gravel Run - 1/2 Marathon (13.1 miles / 21 km)
Race Day Start Times:
- Long - 99m: 8:00 AM MDT
- Medium - 66m: 9:00 AM MDT
- Short - 41m: 9:15 AM MDT
- Run - 13.1m: 9:30 AM MDT
The event takes place at Vermejo Park Ranch, a large property in the Southern Rockies. Courses feature two-track ranch roads, rural dirt roads, and gravel roads. Aid stations will be available.
Packet Pickup/Check-in: Saturday May 16th, 6:00 AM - 8:30 AM for both Run and Ride.
Onsite Registration (CASH OR CHECK ONLY): Saturday May 16th, 6:00 AM - 8:30 AM for both Run and Ride.
eBikes (Class 1 and 3) are permitted in the 41-mile distance, but riders are not eligible for podiums.
