The Seventh Annual Vernal Equinox will take place on the beautiful grounds of Majestic Farm in Batavia, Ohio on March 27-29, 2026. Majestic Farm is Cincinnati's premier equestrian facility with beautiful wooded trails, along with scenic paths along the woods, and around lakes. This is truly a unique venue!

Free clean horse stalls are available by the start/finish area for supplies. The 48 Hour runners will have the stalls located the closest to the Start/Finish. Stalls can be shared with friends.

Cupless Race: Vernal Equinox will be a cupless race. A reusable cup will be provided with your race packet. No paper cups at aid stations. Bowls and plates for hot food will be provided.

Cash Prizes: $250 cash prizes are offered for beating 24-hour and 48-hour course records, sponsored by Barney Riesbeck State Farm.

Inclusion Statement: Empower Ultras events and races welcome runners of all races, ethnicities, and gender identities. They are a women-owned and immigrant-owned company committed to inclusivity and support diverse groups through donations. Athletes With Disability (AWD) divisions are offered.

Event Offerings:

• 48 Hour Run: Starting Friday at 7 am, finishing Sunday at 7 am
• 24 Hour Run: Saturday 7 am - Sunday 7 am
• 12 Hour Run: Saturday 8 am - 8 pm
• 8 Hour Run: Saturday 8 am - 4 pm
• 12 Hour Rucking Option: All ruckers will receive a patch in addition to other race swag. Rucking involves marching or walking while wearing a loaded rucksack. Weight standards are determined by body weight (30# dry for over 150#, 20# dry for under 150#).
• Athletes With Disability (AWD) Division: Offered for visually impaired and mobility impaired individuals. AWDs must be able to run/walk/hike the course. Specific guidelines and rules for AWDs and their guides are provided.

Course: The loop is 2 miles long and includes meadows, woods, and gravel road. The course is not suitable for athletes in wheelchairs.

Pacers: Allowed after the conclusion of 12 and 8 H runs (after 8 pm on Saturday) for 48 H and 24 H runners and 48H ruckers only. No pacers on Friday or for 8H and 12 H participants.

Awards Ceremony: Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday for different race durations.

Swag: Superior swag with high-quality Rabbit shirts and custom finisher awards. Belt buckles for those who run 100 miles in 24 or 48 hours, as well as 150 mi and 200 mi buckles.

Charity Donation: Part of the proceeds will be donated to Project Congo.
