Volunteer Program: Volunteers working a 5-hour shift receive free entry into a future RunningLane Event (1/2 Marathon distance and shorter). Two 5-hour shifts or one 8+ hour shift receive free entry into a future RL Event 50 Miler and down OR two races 1/2 marathon and down. Email [email protected] for details.

Overview: The 2024 Wade Mountain guaranteed hoodie deadline is Oct 4th. RunningLane hoodies will be available if Wade Mountain hoodies run out. All RunningLane Events trail races are "cupless." Bring a handheld bottle, pack, or reusable cup. Reusable cups can be purchased for $5.

North Alabama's ONLY trail marathon. Also both 10K & Half Marathon options! Enjoy the brilliant fall foliage of late October with perfect temperatures (Avg's 49F/73F). Brought to you by the directors of the Wild Thangs Trail Series, Eagle Ridge & The Grand Viduta Stage Race.

Post-race: Hamburgers and drinks will be available to all runners.

Registration Includes: Hooded sweatshirt, finisher medals, and post-race meal. Waitlists available if the event sells out.

Packet Pickup: Saturday, October 18th, 2024 at the RunningLane store (2407 Memorial Parkway SW Suite 1, Huntsville, AL 35801) from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Late packet pickup available on race morning.

Shirts & Awards: Race shirt is a hooded sweatshirt. Age groups for 10K, 1/2 Marathon, and Marathon include various categories up to 70+ and Overall Male & Female Masters.

Weather: Low-traffic trails, expected to go off rain or shine. Delays for severe weather possible. Event may be delayed, altered, or canceled due to heavy rain impacting trail sustainability.

Cutoffs: Marathon: 8 hours (halfway cutoff at 11:45 am). Half Marathon: 6 hours. Progress checked at aid stations.
