WCEG 17th Annual 5K Ridge Run

The Women’s Club of East Granby invites you to run or walk in the annual East Granby 5K Ridge Run. Whether you run competitively, are looking to complete a new challenge or want to walk the route with friends – you will not only be enjoy the beautiful views of rolling meadows and the Metacomet Ridge, you will also be supporting the East Granby community.

Dri-fit shirts will be free to anyone who registers prior to April 11th! After the race, enjoy a healthy snack while participating in the awards ceremony. Cash prizes will be awarded to the both the male and female runners with the fastest time, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals will be awarded for fastest time in a number of age categories. 5k water table hosted by East Granby Congregational Church.

Course Description

The course begins and ends at scenic East Granby Farms. Enjoy beautiful views of rolling meadows and the Metacomet Ridge while running or walking our 5k. The scenic 3.1 mile course begins at the North Entrance parking lot of East Granby Farms. It then heads north on 187N to High Farm Road. The course travels up and down High Farm Road and then continues on 187N to Austin Brook Drive. This three way intersection is the turnaround point. The course then heads south on 187 back to East Granby Farm's North Entrance. The final portion of the course follows an off-road grassy path to the finish line near the painted silo.
