Whisper Walk

Event Details

WOCA'S Whisper Walk is a 2-mile fun run/walk open to everyone of all experience levels. Participants can run or walk in honor or memory of someone, as survivors, or simply to support an awesome cause. This year's theme is TEAL, encouraging participants to wear their favorite teal outfits for a chance to win a prize for the best outfit.

Course Information

• 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk: This scenic 2-mile course begins and ends at McKee Farms Park Pavilion, winding through the park on a paved path. Strollers, wheelchairs, and leashed dogs are welcome.

Registration & Pricing

• 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk - Untimed:
  • Early Bird (April 1st - May 31st): $25
  • Standard (June 1st - July 31st): $30
  • Late (August 1st - September 18th): $35

• Rascal Romp - Children 12 & Under: $5

Registration opens April 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM CDT.

Day of Timeline (Times Subject to change)

• 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Race Day Registration
• 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Music
• 9:00 a.m.: Survivor Photo - Meet at the main stage
• 9:30 a.m.: Warm Up Stretch
• 9:45 a.m.: National Anthem
• 9:50 a.m.: Start Rascal Romp
• 10:00 a.m.: Start 2 Mile Fun Run (Walk to follow immediately after runners' second lap)
• 11:15 a.m.: Award Ceremony

Team Information

Teams are a great way to gather friends and family, made up of 10 or more people. Each individual on a team will receive $5 off their registration once 10 participants are registered. Participants must register before August 31st to receive discounted pricing.

T-shirt Pickup

T-shirts will be available for pickup September 19th from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM at McKee Farms Park or on the morning of the event. Build your own Swag Bags will be available at the event.
