Description: Like Running or Walking? Love Wine? This race is for you! Join us on Saturday, April 11, 2026, with start times at 8:30 am and 10:30 am (you will select your start time during registration) for an exciting "Harvest themed" event that features The Wise Villa Winery. Since their first vintage was released in 2009, Wise Villa has been a family owned and operated winery, estate vineyard, and Tuscan-style Gourmet Restaurant located in the heart of the Sierra Foothills Wine Appellation of Placer County. Their grapes are meticulously grown using organic and sustainable practices. During harvest they go a step further by triple sorting and implementing whole berry cold fermentation to retain a balanced wine with natural fresh fruit character. So, whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wonderful wine and camaraderie this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience!

Wise Villa Winery is a non-smoking property.

Course Information:

The race starts and finishes at the Wise Villa Winery. The 2 loop course proceeds around the Winery offering spectacular views of the property and surrounding area. The course is great for both runners and walkers. If you decide to stop at the Finish "Wine" after just 1 loop please let us know and you can proceed directly to your wine pour. Also, please be aware that this course is hilly and has uneven terrain.

Awards:

Age Group Awards will be presented to the top 3 finishers in each age category (10 Year Categories: 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Over).

FAQ's:

• Age Restrictions: Minors are welcome and receive a discounted registration (no wine glass or pour).
• Strollers: Allowed but not recommended due to uneven terrain. Children in strollers participate for free.
• Walking: Allowed.
• Dogs: Friendly, leashed dogs are allowed. Please clean up after your dog.

Food & Entertainment:

Consider staying after the race to enjoy the winery's Tuscan-style Gourmet Restaurant, courtyard, tasting bar, and culinary team. Reservations are required.

Packet Pickup:

Thursday, October 23rd, and Friday, October 24th, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at the winery. Race day pickup is available one hour before your start time.

Virtual Participation:

A virtual option is available. Participants can pick up their packet and run on their own, or have their packet shipped for a $10.00 fee.
