Lottery: Opens February 1, 2026, 10:00 AM MT and closes February 10, 2026, 8:00 PM MT.

New for 2026: Check-in at the finish (Box Y Ranch) on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A cutoff at Grizzly Basin (mile 84) is added before the final 20-mile stretch. All runners must carry their buckle from the start.

Race Details: This is a graduate-level race with challenges including running in grizzly country (bear spray required), long stretches between aid stations, potential way-finding on rough trails, and possible snow, lightning, or white-out conditions. It is a Hardrock qualifier.

The Course: A rugged 100-miler along the Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail (WRNRT). Features 24,000' of climbing and an average elevation of nearly 8,600'.

Service Requirement: Entrants must complete eight hours of trail work or wildlife habitat restoration at least two weeks prior to race day. Alternatively, a $80 donation to Friends of the Bridger-Teton with a receipt is accepted.

Price: $440.00 (base price, taxes and fees may apply).

Required Gear: Garmin GPS device (for live tracking) and bear spray are mandatory. Rentals are available.
