TRANSCEND TO GREATNESS

Welcome to the 6th Annual XTERRA TRANSCEND Trail Fest — now an XTERRA Trail Run World Championship Qualifier. Join us June 20 at Dickerson Mine Preserve in Randolph, NJ for one of our most approachable, runner-friendly trail races of the season. Expect fast, flowy singletrack, scenic wooded corridors, and beautiful lakeside views throughout the course. This is trail running at its best—smooth, efficient, and incredibly fun.

Course Details

• 10K / Half Marathon Loop: 6.8 miles with just 400 feet of elevation gain per loop. Half Marathon completes two loops.
• 5K: 3.1 miles with only 170 feet of elevation gain.

Whether you’re chasing a World Championship slot or simply looking for a fast, confidence-building trail race, TRANSCEND delivers.

Giving Back

A portion of event proceeds will be donated to JORBA (Jersey Off Road Biking Association) in support of the volunteers who maintain and protect these outstanding multi-use trails.

Post-Race Experience

Start, lap, and finish at the picturesque Black River Barn, a lakeside destination featuring outdoor dining and beer on tap. Please note - If you do not plan to eat at Black River Barn, please plan to leave the parking area by 11:00 AM. For Half Marathon runners that need a bit more time to finish we've arranged for extended parking at Education Station 1176 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869. (Yes you can walk right over. to the Start area). All conditions event - rain or shine. There are no refunds.

XTERRA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS INFO

XTERRA Transcend is a qualifier for the 2027 XTERRA Trail Run World Championships, which will be held in Malta. Featuring challenging ascents runners will tackle the Trail Half Marathon against the rugged beauty to determine the next Trail Run World Champion in each age division. FINISHER MUG & WINNER MEDALS

Finishers will get a limited edition XTERRA Transcend Coffee Mug (subject to availability based on sign up date). Marathon, World Championship Qualifier Half Marathon will have 5 year age groups Men's & Women's fields (19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+) & 10K will have 10 Year Age Group Medals Top 3 Men & Women: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+ 5k Top 3 Men & Women Overall Medals

ON COURSE GPS WITH AUDIO CUES

All registered runners will receive full access to use RideWithGPS during the event. The free APP can be set to provide audio cues to alert you before each turn. While we painstakingly mark the course with arrows and course tape, it is possible for something to be blown down or missed as your running full out. Use the App on your phone to check where you are on the course so you can easily make your way back on course in case you've missed a turn. REQUIRED GEAR

We want to make sure you have an incredible experience at our trail run. Portions of the course are technical and expect that your pace to adjust accordingly. Please make sure to bring the following:

• Charged Cell Phone
• RideWIthGPS App pre-loaded (or your choice of App using GPX file)
• Hydration Pack or Water Bottle
• Minimum 200 calories (gels, chews, energy bar, etc)
• Whistle

WEATHER & WHAT TO WEAR

Extended forecast calls for perfect race weather with temperatures 55-70 degrees. We will have great running T shirts for sale at the event. (Pre-Order to ensure we have your size). Trail Running Shoes recommended. All conditions event - rain or shine. There are no refunds.

VOLUNTEERS

It's no secret that community events like TRANSCEND Trail Run simply don't happen without the help of volunteers. All volunteers will get race swag & join us for the post race celebration.
