Event Details

Join the West St. Tammany YMCA for their 3rd Annual 1 mile and 5K walk/run. Both events start and finish at the YMCA, with the route running through neighboring Terra Bella. This is a chip-timed event with overall and age group awards presented after the 5K race.

Schedule

• Friday, May 8th: Early packet pick-up from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at West St. Tammany YMCA.
• Saturday, May 9th (Race Day):
  • 7:00 am: Packet pick-up
  • 8:00 am: 1 mile race start
  • 8:30 am: 5K race start

Immediately following the races, everyone is welcome to enjoy Healthy Kids Day festivities, including the use of the swimming pool and water slide. Be sure to register by April 30th to receive a race t-shirt.

KIDZONE

Register your children for FREE in the KIDZONE, where they can have fun while you run. Afterwards, everyone can enjoy the Healthy Kids Day activities together.

Beneficiary

Proceeds from the YMCA HKD5K benefit the financial assistance extended to individuals who cannot otherwise afford services offered at the YMCA, such as membership, youth sports, summer camp, and swimming lessons.
