All proceeds benefit children with special needs at Zachariah's Acres, a 501(c)(3) organization located in the town of Oconomowoc, WI. Zachariah's Acres hosts nature-based experiences for children with special needs and their families. When families attend one of our signature events, they create life-long memories, enhance social skills, strengthen family relationships, and simply relax in nature. Favorite activities include fishing, guided nature walks and rolls through prairie grass and wildflowers, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, hay wagon rides, apple picking, or cooking in our educational kitchen. More than 38 schools, nonprofits, and community partners visit Zachariah's Acres on a regular basis for educational field trips, outdoor recreation, vocational skills training, volunteer opportunities, and hands-on learning. New for 2026 - Rucking! What is rucking? Rucking is a physical activity that involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack (called a rucksack). The term comes from the military, where soldiers train and operate carrying heavy loads over long distances. In civilian fitness and recreation, rucking is gaining popularity as a versatile and low-impact workout. More information about rucking.

Course

The courses are set on Zachariah's Acres featuring 125 beautiful acres consisting of tree-lined paths, wild flowers, prairie grass, ponds, wild life, crops, evergreens, Fall colors, and more. The family walk/roll loop is 1 mile of gentle hills and scenic views. Jogging strollers or all terrain wheel-chairs are recommended.

Race Day Packet Pickup & Schedule

Awards & Finisher Medals

Overall Male & Female will receive medals. Top 3 male & female finishers in 5 year age groups will receive a custom medal. Half marathon finishers will receive a custom finishers medal. There will be an finisher awards ceremony for all the family walk / roll participants.

T-shirts

All participants registered before September 27 are guaranteed a custom dry wick unisex race shirt. After that shirts be available while on line supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come first serve basis.

NO REFUND policy

If the event is canceled due to severe weather, there will be no refunds.
