11th Annual Breanna Vergara 5K & Color Run

Join us on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, for the 11th Annual Breanna Vergara 5K & Color Run (#BVF5K)! This event is the biggest annual fundraiser for The Breanna Vergara Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for pediatric heart health in loving memory of Breanna "Bre-Bre" Vergara. Every step you take helps us fund initiatives that promote awareness and early detection of heart conditions in children. Bring your friends, family, and running shoes to the beautiful, tree-lined streets in the Town of Miami Lakes for a day of fitness, fun, and community support!

The Race Experience

• Timed 5K Race: This is a USATF-certified course perfect for competitive runners. Official race times will be posted, and top finishers will receive recognition during our awards ceremony.
• Fun 1-Mile Color Run: A family-friendly experience! Get covered in vibrant colors while celebrating a great cause.

Event Day Schedule

• 6:00 AM: On-site Registration & Packet Pickup Opens
• 8:00 AM: Timed 5K Race Start (USATF-Certified Course)
• 9:00 AM: Fun 1-Mile Color Run Start

Family Fun: Stick around after your race! This community celebration includes activities, music, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Important Registration Details: To ensure you receive your commemorative #BVF5K race day shirt and are eligible for early packet pick-up, please register early! Registering after January 22nd means we cannot guarantee a race day shirt and you may not be eligible for early packet pick-up.
