17th Annual Run For Their Lives 5K

Race Information

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026

Location: North Park Swimming Pool Loop, 303 Pearce Mill Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101

Time: Registration begins at 7:30 AM, Race begins at 8:30 AM

Distance: 5K (Approximately 3-mile course)

Lace up and join us for the 17th Annual Run for Their Lives 5K on September 19, 2026! This timed charity fun run features an approximately 3-mile course through the beautiful, tree-lined streets of North Park in northern Allegheny County, just north of Pittsburgh, PA. Your participation helps raise awareness of bleeding disorders and supports essential education and advocacy programs.

Each participant will receive a technical race t-shirt (if registered by July 31, 2026), goody bag, and medal. The final day to ensure a shirt in your size is Friday, July 31.

Registration and Pricing

Online run registration will close at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 18.

In-person registration will begin at 7:30 AM on Saturday, September 6!

The registration fee schedule is as follows:

• Early Bird Pricing: $25 now through May 31, 2026
• Pre-Race Registration: $30 from June 1 – September 18, 2026
• Race Day Fee: $35

Virtual Run for Their Lives 5K

Our hybrid run gives you the choice to join us in-person on September 19 in North Park or be a virtual runner and run one of your favorite courses! No matter where you run, you’re still raising critical awareness and funds to support those affected by bleeding disorders in Western Pennsylvania!

• Registration for virtual runners is $25 and includes a t-shirt (if registered by July 31, 2026), race medal, and goody bag.
• Virtual runners have the option to have their race packets/bags mailed to them for an additional fee or free pick-up at the WPBDF office located at: 433 State Avenue, Suite #4, Beaver PA 15009. Our office is open from 9 am - 4 pm. Please contact Jessica, Race Director, at [email protected] to coordinate packet pick-up.

Post-Race Activities

Come for the Run – Stay for the Fun! Following the Run for Their Lives 5K, join us for our Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk to support the Western PA Bleeding Disorder Foundation. Enjoy snacks, music, raffles, games, and community!
